About unlost

We are a group of 4 international masters students

Seeking to stage a collaboratively written play, centered around these tangible and intangible losses we may experience in life. Not only this, but we will also include an interactive creative space – our ‘Lost & Found.’ This is a sharing forum which can be openly or anonymously contributed to, either in person at our event or digitally via our website. We hope that our event will help stimulate deeper conversations and further awareness on the subject matter.

So, let us provide an open and engaging platform, one where we can all become “unlost.”

ABOUT

Our proposal, stemming from our resulting force, is to showcase how performing arts experiences can act as a coping/processing mechanism for those who have/are suffering from a form of loss via the medium of a play.

This play will be written through a collaborative process by each member of the group and will be further expanded upon in the note of intention section of the essay. Furthermore, we want to include a thought wall (a creative space which would allow the public to put in their own feedback and experiences of loss). This would spark further conversation on this topic as well as provide a degree of interactivity.

Best friends Sophie and Mia own a small theatre company. One day, Adam, a former actor and current director knocks on their door, seeking for an actress who will play the lead for his first play. Coincidence or not, Mia met Max, a CEO of a big production company, the day before. And the dream team is ready to set off. Once the rehearsal starts, all the hidden feelings start to show… Can they handle the “loss” they’ve been holding on?
